After completing the interview process, I was offered the position with a scheduled start date. During the pre-employment process, I followed all instructions, including completing a background check, drug screening, and disclosing relevant information to the HR team. However, just days before my start date, my offer was rescinded, citing pre-employment screening results that did not meet the company’s requirements. Despite reaching out to ask for clarification, reconsideration, or accommodations, I received no further responses. If you have a disability, be aware that GMR will not engage in discussions about accommodations and may discriminate against you, violating your rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). They will not disclose their policies ahead of time, so be sure to inquire about them before accepting a role, especially if you need any accommodations. What began as a promising opportunity ended in disappointment due to a lack of communication and transparency.
