I applied online. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at GSK (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
A number of interviews with HR, the hiring manager and associated team members. Had repeat questions following the formal process that had been asked a number of times throughout the interviews, as the hiring manager etc could not make a decision. This extended the process, and when an internal candidate is involved, GSK always defers to employ the internal person. Slow decision process, felt my time was wasted and a decision could have been made a couple of weeks ago instead of repeat questioning and giving mixed messages to the candidate. Applying for a job takes a lot of time and effort and GSK does not seem to appreciate the candidate position at all.
The interview process was pretty typical and I had good interactions with everyone that I spoke to, whether it was on the phone or an in person interview though it has been a few years since I did it
Everyone was well prepared, and it was a great opportunity to meet many people on the team. I went through several rounds of interviews with different small groups of interviewees.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I was asked about specific policy issues and about how I would respond in different work situations.
Initial call with HR with motivations for positions, reasons for wanting to join GSK with some detail on role and benefits. Fast turnaround with subsequent call the next week for first round with the team.
