The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at GVW Group (Miami, FL)
Interview
Had an initial call with the recruiter. She explained the company, founder, job description and other matters.
After almost 60 minutes, she told me she would schedule an interview with the CEO and Founder. After that, she ghosted me.
Would be a professional attitude to answer one of my multiple emails saying I was not selected to move forward. Ghosting recruiters are very unprofessional and impact the company’s reputation.
I submitted an application online and was immediately asked to complete a personality assessment and cognitive test. Then I had a conversation with the internal recruiter. I followed up with the recruiter about a week later but was GHOSTED!

Question 1
Nothing out of the ordinary - typical screening questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at GVW Group (Highland Park, IL) in Aug 2019
Interview
It started with a phone screen with an HR rep, followed by an online IQ/math/excel test, followed by their 'coat of arms' assignment, which covers basic behavioral questions (strengths, weaknesses, etc.). After that, I interviewed with the CEO for an hour in their Highland Park offices, and then the HR rep on the phone one more time before being asked to complete an assignment that took a little over a week to complete. The assignment had three parts, 1) Write a letter to a supplier asking for a price reduction, 2) Company overview of a privately held competitor, 3) Financial overview/analysis of a publicly held competitor.
They strung me along for more than a month and then when I sent in the completed assignment they decided to ghost me. It wasn't until I sent an e-mail to the CEO directly 2.5 weeks later that they told me they'd get back to me the next day with "next steps". Unfortunately they instead informed me that they decided to go with someone without experience (i.e., cheaper), which completely contradicted the job posting and would have been nice for them to decide before having me work on their project. I never got a chance to present, and never got any feedback; I should send them an invoice.
