My first interview was immediately with the HR as the hiring manager, which was nice. The questions asked by the head of seo didn't indicate that he had a high understanding of SEO himself, which made me not being interested in the company. I was seeking for a company where I can contribute but at the same time can learn.

Question 1
They kept seeking information about my past project at my previous company. Seemed they just wanted to have information rather then really hiring.

Question 1
At first, they seemed to be looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of SEO. However, by the third interview, the focus shifted to more practical matters. The nature of the interview turned to more entry-level questions, including inquiries about SEO tools that hadn't been mentioned in the earlier stages.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Game Lounge (Sliema)
Interview
I had 2 interviews and 1 test. First interview with HR went great, very casual but professional. The second interview was with the Managers (2 of them) and same HR person; the managers were knowledgeable but seemed to be exhausted or not in their best mood... they both jad poker faces during the whole call and didn't even try to interact with me apart from very job-specific questions. One of them even yawned openly on camera (it can happen, but an apology or easy smile/joke would clear it out.. but nothing, just kept talking with a complete poker face). Some of their questions made me feel like they were not listening to me. After the 2 interviews, they sent me a test and then ghosted me for weeks. In the end I got a rejection email after 3 or 4 weeks.
