I went through both an HR and a technical interview focused on the implementation of an end-to-end Power BI project. During the technical round, I was asked to walk through the entire lifecycle of a Power BI solution — from understanding business requirements and data sourcing, to data modeling, creating DAX measures, designing dashboards, and finally deploying the reports to the Power BI Service. The interviewer also asked detailed questions about performance optimization, data refresh strategies, and role-level security. The HR round focused more on my communication skills, work ethic, and how I handle challenges in a team environment. Overall, the interview process was very well-structured and insightful. I personally gained a lot of clarity on how to present my project experience effectively, and it helped me reflect deeply on the work I’ve done.
