I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Garan (New York, NY)
Interview
i had three separate interviews on different days, and I was asked to do a project. After being told that project was great and nailing all the interviews. They wanted to go with someone with more experience designing kids. FYI: if that was the case you should of never interviewed me in the first place. what a waist of time. Now I understand why they have such a horrible rating on glass door. Good luck to anyone who is trying to work there.

Question 1
why do yo want to work for garan?
describe and uncomfortable experience you had at your last place of work that you had to resolve?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Garan (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview process was pretty standard. I met with the head designer she described the position and what they were looking for. The original job posting said they were hiring for an associate designer she explained in the interview that it could be an assistant position or associate depending on what was out there. The second person I met with was management. Upon arriving she met with me 10 mins late then proceeded to take a phone call for 5-10 mins. Then took another phone call. Very inappropriate.

Question 1
They asked a lot of personal questions about my life. One was who supported me after school since it had taken me 2 years to find a job in this field after graduating. Some other questions were if I liked NY and if I planned to continue to live here. Not many job related questions.
