      Operations Manager Interview

      19 Dec 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Gear Inc.

      Interview

I applied, they asked me to pass an English test, a psy test, and a resiliency test. Everything went well, i got C1 in the English test, even the interview was extremely easy. Only to be surprised the following day with a rejection email, but the reason of the rejection was this :We need someone with a C2 level. Now this got me thinking, cuz while on the interview, the recruiter couldn't stop making grammar mistakes, some lines she couldn't even finish them that i had to finish her lines and her questions myself to ask myself the question, she used the wrong vocabulary for almost every situation. Now my question is, how dare you have the audacity to ask for C2 while you can barely speak A1, and i'm sure the whole company has mediocre English not just her. This was by far the weirdest experience i had.
