Was asked many questions better suited for mid-level positions, for a beginning-level role. The interview also had a very stiff vibe. I understand being professional, but the refrigerator-for-a-personality feeling was quite intense.

I applied online. I interviewed at Geffen Mesher (Portland, OR) in Jul 2025
Interview
I had a positive first-round interview with Geffen Mesher and enjoyed speaking with the recruiter, who was professional and informative. The role seemed like a strong fit, and I left the conversation feeling excited about the opportunity.
Unfortunately, after the interview I never received any follow-up, even after reaching out multiple times for an update. While I understand that not every candidate moves forward, timely communication (even a simple note to close the loop) goes a long way in showing respect for people’s time and interest.
Overall, my interview experience started off strong, but the lack of communication afterward was disappointing. I hope the company considers improving its candidate experience in the future, as clear and respectful communication makes a big difference.
