Genomics Software Engineer Core Engines interview questions

Application-unlimited time coding task(e-mail hr when finishing the task)-video interview(via zoom) The coding task is like a small but complete project with test cases. I am not good at Python but I decided to write the code in Python and it took me some time. And I think I did it well. The video interview was not a good experience. Although I can see the interviewer is a very experienced software engineer, the questions he asked me are vague and I didn't know what he wanted to test me. I am not happy about this cuz I treated it seriously but he didn't really test my ability and I also tried my best to complete the coding test.
