The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Goetze Dental (Kansas City, MO) in Mar 2011
Interview
I was considered for a sales position with Goetze Dental recently.
The interview process was as follows:
I started the process with a thirty minute phone interview. The phone interview went fine, and I was invited to take the next step, an online personality test, and background check.
Next, I was invited to a face to face interview with the Goetze Dental HR representative.
I thought the interview went fine, and I “closed” her for the next step. She stated that I would be great for the position, and I would be interviewing with the sales manager in two weeks. In the interim, she recommended that I contact several Dentists, ask them specific questions, and report my progress to her.
Over the next two weeks I spoke with three Dentists, and reported back to her via email.
I never received a response from her.
I am comfortable accepting that I might not have been a perfect fit for the position. It happens to everyone. The fact that I received absolutely no response from the company is what bothers me.
Granted, it’s possible I am jaded that I did not go further in the process. With that being said, I feel that no response, after all of the time that was invested by both parties, was completely unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The personality/skills test had a unusual ammount of questions regarding theft and drug use.
