The interview process consisted of 3 parts. The first was a general phone interview to introduce both parties and set up a face-to-face interview. The face-to-face was a small panel interview with the lead draftsman, HR, and the shop manager. It was straightforward; they asked about past experiences and simple logic questions related to the position. The final process was a "take home" assessment in which I was told to do a basic 2D/3D drawing of a particular part.
