Applied online to then being invited to a 1st formal interview which was setup quick and then to a 2nd informal interview which was a week after the first one Interviewed at Chelmsford store
I arrived at the store for my scheduled interview and initially had to wait, as the manager was assisting a customer, which was understandable. However, after concluding with the customer, the manager proceeded to step outside to take photos of the store rather than acknowledging my presence. It was only after a further wait that I was finally recognized and brought into the interview room.
The interview itself was very brief, consisting of only two questions before I was given the opportunity to ask my own. At the conclusion, the manager stated that I would receive a response by Friday or Monday at the latest. However, as of today, I have yet to receive any communication.
This lack of follow-through reflects poorly on the professionalism of the hiring process. Being left without any response after a scheduled interview not only wastes a candidate’s time but also suggests a disregard for basic professional courtesy. I would have expected better communication and respect for applicants' time.
