I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Goodwill (Sterling Park, VA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I submitted my resume online and got a call back a few weeks later (I already had another job by then.. but then i changed it to PT and worked FT for Goodwill later)
After the call, i scheduled an interview. I came in with my resume and did it. Then they told me i would need a second interview. I had to call the recruiter back a few times before they remembered me.
They demanded a drug test. I got sent out to do it. Then after that, there was orientation, which lasted about 5 hours at their Annandale location. Finally, you get a 'free' uniform and then you can start working. The entire process was long and tedious. It was about a month long.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You get your typical stuff. "Why do you want this job?" "What can you bring to this company?"
Nothing that will catch anyone off guard.

Question 1
Work schedule availability, can I work the weekends and evenings.
Interview included questions about past experience at other jobs and situational problem solving. More of a behavioral interview so the question were fairly simple and easy to answer. Interviewer was very polite and professional.
