Hell's Kitchen at Caesars Palace. Applied online through the company website and received an email a couple of days later to come in for a group interview ("hiring event"). The interview was scheduled for a specific date, but I was able to pick the time I wanted to come in on that date. I want to say about 15 to 20 people went at the time I did. After arriving, we waited in line outside of the interview room and they called our names and had us sit in a specific order. 2 ladies were in the room conducting the interview, but only one asked the questions (2 interview questions total, below). The lady speaking kept talking about how she was tired and needed her morning coffee. She had a piece of paper with all of our names on it. I noticed certain names were highlighted. Not sure if they highlighted names were the candidates they were already interested from the online application portion or not. It did appear that the lady was paying more attention to specific candidates. After asking the questions, the two ladies went outside of the room for about a minute and when they came back in names were called to go out to the hallway. The candidates who remained in the room were going to be called in for the second step of the interview process at a later date. They encouraged those of us who didn't make it to keep applying for other positions at Caesars. The total process took about 30 minutes. Honestly most of the people they kept were people who already worked on the strip at different locations. It felt like a waste of my time, like they were never going to pick me regardless of my answers, but I smiled a genuine smile and was enthusiastic anyway. That's what they said they wanted.
