GovEase interview questions

Recruiter Call - Standard phone call discussing what I am looking for 1st Round - Neal Carroll - Good conversation, wanted to understand what I currently do, and questions about my resume 2nd Round - The day of the 2nd interview, I was called by the recruiter saying that GovEase had decided to offer the position to another candidate. Seems pretty unprofessional to not give all the candidates a chance. Was told the only deciding factor was the candidate was local to Mississippi, despite having an office here in Dallas and being a hybrid position.
