I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at GovNet (London, England) in Mar 2017
Interview
Initial phone interview followed by a f2f interview in London office.
Insufficient time (30 mins) to complete a detailed assignment upon arrival to the f2f interview - was told it was "open to interpretation" and there were "no right or wrong answers".
These guidances were then utterly contradicted when we went over my answers to the assignment. The interviewers were undermining and condescending in their obvious disapproval of what I had written after having inadequate time to digest a 4-sided A4 article to answer questions on.
Interview concluded with general questions regarding my experience and suitability for the role.
The whole process was unpleasant and I came away feeling like I had been set up to fail. The interviewers bordered on rude and they did not do justice to myself, nor the organisation.

Question 1
(in relation to one of my answers): "Is this really the most appropriate language to address Local Government officials?"
There was a couple of stages, one was the standard interview q+a format, nothing unexpected from what I can remember. I was also tasked with putting together and presenting an agenda, suggesting themes, speakers etc. with justification.
