It took 8 months from the time the lengthy application was submitted until the hiring process was completed. During the interview they gave an over enthusiastic opinion of themselves and the workplace conditions. One of the supervisors outright lied during the interview (which wasn't discovered until later). The interview panel comprised of both civilian (dispatch supervisors) and police officers.
