I applied to GTM as an Talent Acquisition Expert on December 29, 2025, and was invited to a first interview with the HR Director Ewelina. The interview went very well—we had a great conversation and spoke for longer than the scheduled 45 minutes. At the end of the call, Ms. Ewelina informed me that I would receive feedback on Monday, along with an invitation to complete a test if we were to move forward.
Unfortunately, on Monday I received feedback that they would not be proceeding with my application. During our initial conversation, Ewelina mentioned that they were looking for a strong culture fit and that the team would review my application together. However, the rejection email did not include specific feedback explaining the decision.
I have a feeling—though I may be mistaken—that the last few minutes of the call, when Ewelina’s child briefly appeared on screen (and I have no problems myself with kids as I have myself but I have an assumption that my vide was not shared with the rest of the team because of this), may have disrupted the conversation and possibly influenced the outcome. That said, this is only an assumption.
Overall, I had a very positive impression of the company, and I genuinely wish I had received more detailed feedback on this occasion.
