The interview process was incredibly smooth! I had a phone screen, had to do a written assessment, then was invited onsite to meet with several people across the business. The office has a very laid-back back vibe and everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
Every interviewer has a laptop with them, and is typing notes as you are speaking. This wasn't distracting and I felt that every interviewer was genuinely paying attention to me as I was speaking, but I was glad that I was given the heads up before my interview!
You can tell that they are genuinely trying to find someone who would be a good fit for the role AND the culture, not just someone who would be good at the job. They provided water and snacks and everything was super professional.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Greenhouse Software (Denver, CO) in May 2021
Interview
I cannot sing Greenhouse’s praises enough. Before interviewing, I was a Greenhouse customer and loved working with the product. I was fortunate to receive a few offers but Greenhouse was my top choice. They moved the process along at lightning speed and remained communicative along every step of the way. The interview process is rigorous, but it is evident that they have a great formula in place to be sure they’re hiring the right people. I am honored to be a part of their growing family.

Interview
I went through a robust interview process and had a great experience. I first talked to a recruiter, then completed a take home assignment, and then moved on to speak with panel. I didn't end up landing the role, but walked away from the experience still liking the company and will keep an eye out for future roles that align with my skillset.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very normal behavioral interview questions and also spent a lot of time on diversity, equity and inclusion.
