3 person panel with common interview questions (i.e. tell me about yourself, strengths and weaknesses). It would be useful to familiarize yourself with situational interview questions (how have you dealt with an upset patron, how would you prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment, how would you tell a patron that what they're asking for is beyond your expertise).

I applied online. I interviewed at Greenville County Library (Greenville, SC) in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview was a panel interview in a conference room. There were 4 interviewers who read off of a list of prepared questions. It was nice and conversational. The interview lasted close to an hour.

Question 1
Q: Discuss a time that you had to make a difficult decision and how did you come to that decision?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Greenville County Library (Mauldin, SC) in Nov 2021
Interview
Very intense interview process for a part-time job. There were three interviewers that would go down a list of questions without responding to anything I said. No organic conversation was allowed and it took over an hour.

Question 1
They asked at least 15-20 interview questions. Most of them were generic like “Name a difficult work experience and how did you solve it”
