      Research Scientist Interview

      26 Feb 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Gretel.ai in Feb 2025

      Interview

Initial recruiter round followed by tech screening. Tech screening was by someone who probably swallowed text books whole and expected exact answers that they had in mind. Quite an arrogant interviewer too. Expected me to read their mind and magically come up with solutions to the open ended case study provided. I did fine but the interview kept interrupting my thought process and expected me to solve the case study based on their thought process. Overall, left a bad taste and I had already moved on from this job by the time the interview ended.
