I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Greystar (Westminster, CO) in Aug 2018
Interview
It was a regular interview, except the manager spent more time talking about himself and what he expects of his employees than actually asking questions. I went in knowing I didn't have experience in the field but I was watching tutorial videos online for the software they use, the manager was very impressed with that but ended the interview with "if I hadn't already offered the job to someone else I would give it to you" which in the end is really just a slap in the face. But he did redeem himself by saying he would help me get another Leasing position at a different location. So I applied for a handful of other locations and sent him an email. Conveniently he disappeared until the very same day I was rejected from the last location I applied to. Honestly the bait and ruse thing gave me such a bad outlook on this company that I actively tell people not to even rent from them.
Pretty casual, basic questions- make it seem like they’ll give you the job then ghost you but that seems to be a thing for many individuals! Not very negotiable on salary, immediately hit with a budget excuse
I would say that the Interview process was fairly simple. Very Straight forward questions. My interview process lasted a total of two days. I interviewed with the raleigh north carolina leasing division.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Greystar (West New York, NJ) in Feb 2026
Interview
I was working in a management position when ownership decided it was best to have Greystar take over managing their properties. I interviewed with Greystar and was offered a leasing position.
