I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Grow Therapy in Mar 2024
Interview
1st/Recruiter call
2nd/ Take Home Assignment due in 48 hours
3rd/Hiring Manager
4th/Core Values Interview
5th/Technical Interview
Steps 1-4 were smooth, but 5th they started asking questions more geared for engineers and I flopped. (this was on a Wednesday) They said they needed to fill the role immediately. I thought at least they would reach out after the weekend and tell me they were not interested. It didn't happen. 1,2,3 weeks went by. Nothing. I thought they ghosted me. I was going to write a review about being ghosted and already had a bad taste regarding this company after 2 weeks. Then 3 weeks and 5 days - the recruiter emailed me and finally scheduled to chat, I was prepared but more than anything all I heard was BS because almost 4 weeks to give me notice about this role. No updates at all. I read a lot of reviews on them and not many positive roles. I had wanted to work for this company for a few years and was purely disappointed how this was handled.

Question 1
Honestly, I can't remember anymore because I was floored by the last round of questions that set me out to fail. I wonder how they will respond to this review. Probably sooner than 4 weeks.
1. Recruiter screening video call - get an idea of what you are looking for, what the job is; conversational, felt good
2. Troubleshooting questionnaire assignment
3. Hiring Manager video call - understanding the role more, and what makes you interested and have relevant experience; conversational, felt good
4. Director of product video call - Robotic "Tell me about a time when.." Questions; Little attempt at interaction or conversation, just checking the boxes of questions they had to ask, felt obligatory
5. Product manager video call - Robotic "Tell me about a time when.." Questions; Little attempt at interaction or conversation, just checking the boxes of questions they had to ask, felt obligatory
