      Sales Development Manager Interview

      4 Oct 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Tel Aviv-Yafo
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Guardicore (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Jun 2019

      Interview

I applied directly to the position through the company's website. They answered me surprisingly fast and qualified my candidacy through a phone interview. It then followed a phone interview from the SDM director, a f2f interview, a simulation with a team in Spain, an interview with the head of HR and a last interview with the director of sales. The process took 3 weeks altogether. It was well organized, very focused, and at each time I knew what was ahead of me and what was the feedback of my previous stage. They checked my sales and language skills in depth as well as my ability to learn and absorb new material quickly, but they were also interested in knowing about me, my interests and my way of seeing different things.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The simulation, as well as the f2f interview included questions that needed a basic understanding in the networking and cloud environments (OSI model layers, the key differences between On-Premise, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc).

      Anonymous employee
      Tel Aviv-Yafo
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Guardicore (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Nov 2019

      Interview

1st interview took place over the phone, the person interviewing gave me insight into the company and role and answered ALL of my questions! My 2nd interview was onsite, it was a conversational interview. I got the opportunity to get a feel for the company, and spoke about my experience and skill set. After the second interview I had a call simulation test which I was given 2 days to prepare for, the person testing me was happy to work around my schedule. The 3rd interview was on site with HR and the COO - I was asked about my previous role/company and had to do a sales pitch on the spot (about my previous company). After this I had one more call simulation test, also given 2 days to prepare for. * I had made a mistake and mixed up the day that my 3rd interview was scheduled for. HR was really understanding and happily agreed to reschedule with me. Due to my mistake the process took another week. * Guardicore was quick, they were warm, friendly and professional throughout the whole process. * I appreciated their transparency - I asked what this process would look like, what they told me was how it was! * They call simulation test was challenging but fair, I appreciated their way of testing -- not giving me a handwritten assignment with 24 hours to complete! * They got back to me in the time frame that they had told me. OVERALL: very positive and professional interview experience !
