      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto in Nov 2018

      Interview

The communication from the company was great and they were proactive about following up with next steps. The interview in the office was well organized and everyone was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, I did not receive an offer and the follow up communication was not fantastic. I was basically told they had other candidates they were moving forward with but could not provide me with any feedback, which was extremely disappointing!

      Question 1

Explain to me what great customers service means to you.
      Answer question

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto in Mar 2020

      Interview

Contacted by a recruiter via email asking for availability. 30 min phone call with a “manager” in the department followed by a skill analysis homework assignment. I had to follow up every step because it took awhile between steps. Last step was a 3.5 hour in house interview. Amazing people but I’m not sure why it was in house with 3/4 interviews over video conferencing. Got a sorry rejection letter a couple days later unfortunately. I wish they would be a bit more selective as 3.5 hours is a long time to take off work for no offer.

      Question 1

Most questions were either “tell me about a situation...” but some where more personal based.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Gusto (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

The interview process took about a month. I started at the beginning of October. I submitted an online application on a Wednesday and on Friday was contacted by a recruiter to set up a phone call. The phone call took about a half hour then I was told that there would be a "sneak peek" assignment. That basically was a homework assignment to give me a glimpse into the duties of the job and Gusto the chance to see how my brain worked. A couple hours after the assignment was turned in the recruiter reached out to schedule a three interviews. Because I was remote the interviews were online. One was a technical, the other was someone on the team, and the last was someone within a different department. It was scheduled for a week later. After that interview I had one more interview that was more technical. After that it was talking with a recruiter and was offered a job. It was a long process but worth it because it gave the company insight into me and me insight into the company.
