      Cyber Threat Intelligence Modeller Interview

      11 Dec 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Guy Carpenter (London, England) in Nov 2025

      Interview

Went through two-stages which didn't have a typical interview format, it was more of a conversation with no real structure. First interview was slightly technical with a cyber professional but not as much as I expected and second interview was more like teaching the interviewers about what threat intelligence is as neither of them were cyber security professionals.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me to produce a "short" presentation comparing reports published by their own organisation and their competitors - I spent hours and days doing this and preparing for it, including timing it to at least 10 minutes. Other questions were more about what I have done and where I get my threat intelligence from.
