I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HCLTech (New Delhi) in Mar 2022
Interview
I have never thought that HR professionals from reputed organization like HCL can be so unprofessional. They scheduled interview for me and it was discussed that I had 2 months of notice period. I asked them explicitly if that's gonna be okay with them and they agreed. There were 2 technical rounds and one client interview. After the client interview they called me and told me that I have got selected and they will let me know about the next step. I waited for the week but didn't receive anything from them. Then I called the recruiter. She didn't receive my calls at first then she received and told me that they have the issue with my notice period and want someone who can join within 30 days. I have talked to my current employer regarding the early release and they agreed. I called hcl again and told them that I can join in 30 days. They said they will proceed further and then recruiter stopped receiving my calls again. I am fed up and now stopped trying. Everyone deserves a respect and recruiters shouldn't behave like this with candidates. If you have the issues then let the candidate know instead of keep them hanging like this.

the interview process is good. First round was face to face round and all othethe interview process is good. First round was face to face round and all others are virtual rounds. Communication with HR is good.rs are virtual rounds.
The interview process is quite confusing and unstructured. It starts with two technical rounds, followed by an HR round. However, even after the HR discussion, there is an additional manager round that is highly technical. The manager round is particularly frustrating, as it is initially presented as a 15-minute call but ends up lasting around 45 minutes, with questions asked in a rushed manner. Additionally, the feedback timeline is very slow, with about 10 days between each round. Because of these delays and the unclear process
