Eligibility fon the Requested Classification
The petitioner must establish that the petitioner holds an advanced degree as of the priority date. Thereforc, please submit evidence to establish that the petitioner is a professional holding an advanced degree. This evidence may consist of the following documentation:
• A copy of the petitioner's official academic record, showing that the petitioner has a U.S. advanced degree Cor a foreign equivalent degree), the dates of attendance, area of concentration of study, and the date the petitioner received the degree. Please also submit a complete copy of the petitioner's transcripts to show the major area of study: or
• A copy of the petitioner's official academie record showing that the petitioner has a U.S. baccalaurcate degree (or a foreign equivalent degree), and evidence in the form of letters from current or former cmployers) showing that the petitioner has at least five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the specialty.
The employer must issue the letter of experience on official letterhead and must list the employer's name and address, the date, the signer's name and title, and a description of the petitioner's experience, including dates of employment and specific duties.
If the petitioner completed his education outside the United States, in addition to the petitioner's official academic record, please submit a detailed advisory evaluation of the petitioner's credentials. This evaluation is necessary to determine the level and major field of the petitioner's education in terms of equivalent education in the United States.
An acceptable evaluation should:
• Consider formal education only, and not practical training or experience;
• State whether the petitioner completed the United States equivalent of high school before entering college.
• Provide a detailed explanation of the evaluated material, rather than a simple conclusive statement: and
• Briefly state the evaluator's qualifications and experience.
