      Interview

The HSBC online assessment is quite long - I think it took me at least an hour. There is tonnes of situational judgement type questions where you rank the responses from best to worst. (situations in the work place like should you get involved, should you take on more work when you're workload is already a lot, should you ask for help straight away or act more independently.) Then in the Hire Vue style questions I had to answer a long one with 7 minutes prep time where there was a budget and where to move funds when the market is volatile (ie to low risk government bonds and away from risky investments) the other questions I got were: what is your greatest strength, and how would I make the most of opportunities in the company.
