Interview process is relatively long, 3 rounds of interviews. Met with higher ups from the US and a few from India, which was unexpected. The administrative and hiring process was slow, possibly due to the current economic climate and hiring freeze instituted at HSBC.

HR Screening – Quick call to verify experience, salary expectations, and visa status.
First Interview – With the Compliance Manager; focuses on regulatory knowledge (e.g. AML, KYC, UAE Central Bank rules).
Technical Assessment (optional) – Scenario-based test or case study on compliance issues.
Second Interview – With senior leadership (CEO/COO); evaluates strategic thinking and business alignment.
Reference Check & Offer – Final background checks followed by a formal job offer.

Interview
Interview alone was about a decent hour and a half. The waiting to hear whether or not they'd be giving you an offer is what hurts the most as it takes 3-4 weeks, sometimes over 5 weeks!
