Interview
I’ll start with a brief self-introduction in English, and then continue in Chinese to walk through my project experience and discuss some ETL design-related topics. HR first contacted me and told me there would be two rounds of interviews.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HSBC (Pune) in Jan 2026
Interview
Got call after 3+ weeks of application. Got interviewed for the first round but result was not provided. Upon reaching out I was informed I am the only one who cleared the interview but the hiring is on hold globally for revising the headcount. I got the same answer for next 2 months.
Then I got to know that this could be a timepass that company does to show the government that they are continuously hiring. They just wasted my time and crushed my excitement for new opportunity. Extremely unprofessional, you should revise headcount before hiring and stop this timepass.
