HSBC Python Developer interview questions

The interview process started with an initial recruiter screening where they discussed the role, work location, availability, visa/work authorization, and basic project fit. After that, the technical interview focused on my Python backend experience, FastAPI, REST APIs, SQL, production support, debugging, and project-related scenarios. They also asked about my recent work with GenAI/LLM use cases, including RAG pipelines, prompt handling, security controls, and how I handled production issues. Overall, the process was professional and focused on real-time project experience rather than only theoretical questions.
