The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at HUB International
Interview
Most unprofessional and unfair interview experience I’ve had in 20 years!! I was interviewed first with HR that was fine then by the VP of the department. She then had me do a zoom call with 2 team meeting I’d be working with. Then another call with her. She strung me along for over a month and told me she would make a decision by mid week. She “loved me” thought I’d be great but needed to firm up some things first. I received a generic email decline from her after I reached out for an update. After all that, she didn’t even have the courtesy to send me an email with an explanation to our conversation! For a VP she is a joke!!! Glad I didn’t end up there since she is obviously not professional
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HUB International (Melville, NY) in Nov 2025
Interview
The interview process was pretty seamless and straightforward. The initial interview was virtual and was very much me providing my background and information on my experience. Next up was an in-person interview at the office where I learned more about the roles available. Informal in terms of structured questions and was more of a conversation than a formal interview. Following this, I had a secondary virtual interview with another team member who had an open role available as well.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at HUB International (North Bergen, NJ) in Oct 2025
Interview
The interview process was entirely virtual and very organized. It started with an initial phone screening with a recruiter to discuss my background and the role. Next, I had a video interview with the hiring manager, which focused on my experience, client relationship skills, and knowledge of the insurance industry. The final step was a panel interview via video with a few team members, where they asked situational and behavioral questions to understand how I handle challenges and collaborate with others. Communication throughout was clear and timely, and the process felt professional and personable.
