I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Hallite Seals (Bengaluru) in Aug 2025
Interview
1st Round of discussion : HR Round - Mr. Bidhyadhar Mallik
2nd Round of discussion : MD round - Mr. Bansidhar Gaur
Recruitment partner : Sahana Information, Bangalore - Coordinator - Ms. Shivani
It lasted for an Hour. Only after follow-ups from my end, their recruitment partner informed me that I was not shortlisted citing the reason that I was not mature for this job. My background was field sales and now after 10 years I was looking for an office based inside sales / sales support profile, which I thought they might have found so-called "immature". This interview was just an eye-wash, because if coming from a sales background, if I am ready to leave it and join a lower profile with lower salary for my mental, emotional and physical well-being then how can they cite this reason of being "immature". Again, this is my thought and neither the company nor the recruiter has clearly given reason for putting out this answer. Interviews in such petty companies are just a formality and no there is no transparency at all. Leave alone, considering well-being of potential recruits.

I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Hallite Seals (Hampton Hill, England) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process consists of three stages I attended two. Second interview includes presentation. I put a lot of effort in it and never even received any feedback. I emailed Hallite Seals to find out and they have not even bothered to respond. Highly unprofessional

Question 1
They are looking for an individual who can influence the board which is challenging to convince. I gather that the most important aspect is how convincing you are and it is not necessarily only about knowledge and experience but most of all about how you appear. You might be smooth talker with a convincing tone. You will have to make decisions from day 1, regardless if you know much about company or not. Much as it sounds completely unreasonable, the answer: Yes, I will be able to make decisions after I get to know company ... is not good enough. You have to do it immediately. I had a feeling that the marketing department is somewhat trapped in a sense of having a small budget and grand expectations for deliveries. Therefore, they are looking for a digital marketing manager who will be also a sales person, selling internally to the board that has no idea about digital marketing and wants everything without investing much
