I have what I believe was a very strong interview performance, over video link, I used video lighting too & was able to answer every question with a plethora of relevant experience. I followed up with a thank You email & 2 days later I received a standard rejection email from hants.gov.uk (I didn’t even know Hammersmith is in Hampshire!). Only thing I can conclude is that there was no genuine position available & they may have used an Internal Candidate ... this is such a waste of my time & totally dis-respectful. Their loss.
