I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Hanover Research (Arlington, VA) in Jan 2017
Interview
Well I initially applied for one of the Research Associate positions, but Hanover claimed that I was more qualified for their Business Development Associate position (didn't give me any reason why), so I went ahead and interviewed anyway despite wanting a Research role.
My phone interviewer didn't seem very engaged in the interview and wasn't very warm. She seemed to be rattling off a checklist of questions rather than trying to have a conversation with me. Otherwise interview went relatively smoothly. I was sent an online assessment, which is really outdated recruiting method. A lot of the questions that were asked in the assessment could have been better answered over the phone if the interviewer took the time to ask.
After I got rejected by the interviewer over email, I tried tracking down the person who referred me to Business Development asking how I could improve my future prospects for a Research role at Hanover, but he would not respond to my emails.
I definitely would not waste my time trying to interview with this company--not very nice people at all.
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to read that you felt your recruiter was disinterested in getting to know you. Despite your impression of her interview style, I believe you were then invited to interview in person with the review team at our Arlington offices. Unfortunately, not all in-person interviews can result in an offer however we do thank you for your time and for taking time to provide your feedback on your experience.

I interviewed at Hanover Research
Interview
It was good. It was supposed to last 30 minutes but ended up only being 20 because I was prepared for the questions asked. It was with a recruiter and not with the actual company
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Hanover Research (Washington, DC)
Interview
Interviewed with manager of the BDA theam, then two other Senior BDAs who had been in role for years. Typical interview questions and asked what I knew about their "product"/research. had a few personal questions

I applied online. I interviewed at Hanover Research in Aug 2020
Interview
Easy questions but the interview process was extremely lengthy. The first interview was a screening call with an HR member, the second one was with two senior members (about 1.5 hrs), and the last one was with two BDAs (about 45 mins). They also make you take an assessment that took about 30 minutes. Most people showed up in a regular t-shirt on the video call, which put me off since you wouldn't do that for a normal interview - a bit unprofessional.
