Interview
I had a very disappointing experience during the Interview process with Harry Winston. Communication was extremely slow through out the process with responses often taking days. I had a scheduled interview via video call and the interviewer never showed up. There was no prior notice, no follow up and no acknowledgment of the missed interview. For a Brand that represents luxury and professionalism, The lack of basic communication and respect for candidates time was surprising and disappointing. The experience did not reflect the standards the brand represents.

Interview
I applied for the position on Indeed and a few weeks later I got an email to schedule a phone call with a representative from the Talent Acquisitions team, then I had an in-person interview with the Salon Director in which she went over the role and responsibilities and gave me a tour of the beautiful salon. Two days later I had a phone with the Operations Manager and then the next afternoon was offered the position. It was a quick and wonderful process.

Question 1
Describe a time you were faced with a difficult situation and how did you handle it?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Harry Winston (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
First initial contact was pleasant. The Human Resources manager said to me, "We don't want to waste your time as much as we don't want you to waste ours."
However, the experience went from good to bad really fast. No word from them after the last few rounds of interviews. Called and emailed several contacts numerous times without any response.
I would think that a company that prides itself on quality and excellence would have the decency to at least respond to a person that had spent the last 4 months interviewing for them.
