Disgraceful.
I applied and a week later they responded with an e-mail and a link to schedule an interview. I scheduled an interview for a few days later, and then things got weird!
A few hours after booking a meeting in the recruiters' diary, with the link that they provided and they had initially asked me to do, he then sent me another e-mail to say that the initial request for an interview e-mail from them was actually sent in error, and they would be in touch in the next few days. I e-mailed the recruiter back to acknowledge and asked for confirmation as to if they would they need me to still be on the call that we had scheduled. I heard nothing from them.
The day of the interview came and I still had not heard back from the recruiter at Headspace. I thought it would be polite to at least attend. I was on the call for 20 mins and they did not show, so I left. 10 mins after this I received another e-mail from the same recruiter apologising that he was not on the call (not mentioning anything from the previous e-mails), and explaining that he had internet issues at his home and would love to reschedule can I please book a time. I did this, he acknowledged and that was that.
A week or so later, I logged into the call at the agreed time with the recruiter and he again failed to show. He has ignored all e-mails since and not offered any reasoning, apologies or explanation since. In-short, a disgrace. For a company that is famed and selling the belief of making this world a better place through mental health and wellness, it is a disgrace that they would act like this. Reading through the other reviews, I can see that perhaps their mission statement and actual core company values are not aligned and they are no different to all the other money-grabbing corporates.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
