Every step of the interview process felt like a conversation, and not like I was being grilled for answers. The skills assessment was a take-home challenge that was due in one week -- I did not feel time pressure, like a 90 minute test performed online. When reviewing the challenge and for pairing sessions, I felt comfortable asking questions. Every interviewer (from phone screen to c-suite) was interested in me as a person and asked about me, outside of my career (like hobbies, etc).
