I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hearing Health USA (Chesapeake, VA) in Jan 2014
Interview
It was pretty simple. The manager was super nice and easily described what the job exactly was and how to well at the position. I left actually seeing myself in the position already.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hearing Health USA (Mountain Lakes, NJ) in Oct 2016
Interview
I got a phone call from their Internal recruiter and at the time their ONLY recruiter from my resume I had posted on Indeed. I had a brief phone call and was asked to come in for a face to face interview. I had met with him a few days later and was there for an hour. It was the normal type of questions. How do you find candidates? What sources do you use? After that I was told to have another phone call with the person from HR that works from home but is a big part of the company. I was on the phone with her for about an hour. I had asked BOTH people I had interviewed with what the salary rate was and NIETHER of them could give me a straight forward answer. One answer was " well it all depends on experience we could pay $40K or go all the way up to $90k." Any recruiter knows that is way to big of a range and I'm sure they both knew what the CEO had told them what the range was.
I was told that I would get a phone call back from the recruiter in a few days. 2 weeks later..... I got an email from the recruiter stating they wanted me to meet with the CEO but was still in the hiring process since they wanted to present him with 2 candidates. That was the last time that I would hear from them! I called them a few days to follow up. No Answer. I emailed.. No Answer.
