      Development Associate Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Helping Hand (Countryside, IL)

      Interview

I applied online and received an email from a recruiter in about a week. Very easy going and conversational. Asked about my prior experience and why I would want to work for the organization. Once the phone interview was over I got an email indicating that they would like for me to come in for a face to face interview. The interview went great. Spoke with the supervisor over the position and the Director. Two very easy going ladies. Very personable and informative when it came to the organization and the position. My only problem with this organization and the communication concerning the selection process. I had to email the Recruiter multiple times to get a status update on the position. She only responded once and I waited two additional weeks to email again only to be left with no response. I'm okay with not being selected for the position but we've all been on the other side looking for a job and it should be common courtesy to let people know where they stand.
