Genuinely try make you feel stupid throughout the whole interview process even if you have a few years experience and know what to do they will look for ways to undercut you

Asked the theory behind hplc which anyone can talk about from google or a book but not even how to troubleshoot column and chromatography issues

Interview
The interview was not really that welcoming, felt very awkward and difficult to get comfortable in. There would be two people interviewing you and seems to be rushed. It was supposed to be 50 minute interview and can be done in 10 minutes. Quite unprofessional and not very friendly. They also asks you different questions either about yourself or not at all. Didn't even get to the talking about yourself or anything. Quite rude and oblique. Be prepared for question that isn't even in the job role you applied for.

Very short interview with technical questions.
More technical questions than competency based in my opinion but definitely a mix of both. Approx 25 minutes long and started interview discussing CV.
