Two interview process, second interview is pretty extensive with questions. But a great place to work. Plenty of learning opportunities and cross training. Closed weekends for convenient days off, recommend.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Heritage Bank (WA) (Bellevue, WA) in Oct 2024
Interview
The first contact was by phone with the manager, and one of first the questions asked was whether I would accept a lower salary than the one posted on Indeed.
Then, they called me for an interview in Bellevue, which took me a long time to find the bank location.
The interview was with two managers, and instead of being a 30-minute interview as I had been told, the interview lasted an hour and a half.
They had 5 pages with more than 40 questions to ask me.
The two managers were actually friendly, but it seemed very strange to me that for a temporary Teller position for 3 months, with a minimum wage salary, no benefits at all... they had to ask so many questions.
I left the interview satisfied because I understood that they were very interested in hiring me and from then on they sent several emails to do the background check, employment verification and minimum 5 references, etc...
From what I understand, they only called one of my references and then called me back in a stupid way, asking about the dates of my previous jobs.
To my surprise, today I received an email template, a control C + control V, which they are going to move with other candidates, without giving me the slightest explanation.
This bank is such a joke.

Interview
One of worst unprofessional hiring process ever. I did 3 interviews. Hiring Manager called to offer me the job and ask to provide 5 references. I provided 6 references and Employment Verification. I got email from hiring manager in a few days saying that they moved with other person. You can't waste people time like that. I had offers from other companies, so I asked them to wait a few days for Heritage Bank. It was extremely bad experience. I don't recommend anyone to apply with them.
