Was approached by the Hevo team on LinkedIn. They seemed to like my profile and experience even though I did not have any prior Product Support experience.
Since i liked the role, I agreed for the interview.
The first interview was a technical Interview with a principal engineer. In my opinion the interview was good and I think I did convincingly well. However, the interviewer may have a different opinion.
Next day i received the feedback that my profile and prior experience does not match the role requirements.
This was very surprising to me. My resume and my profile clearly mentions what they gave me as a feedback. Moreover, in the first discussion with the Hiring manager, this was clearly discussed and established as a fact. Yet the interviewers used it as a criteria for interview was very strange for me.
Seems like there was no coordination and clarity between the hiring team members. Was just a waste of time for both me and the team.
