I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hi-Tech Talents (Brazil) in Jun 2025
Interview
I completed all interviews for an Applied Data Scientist role with client company through Hi-Tech Talents and received a written job offer, which I accepted. I disclosed a 15-day notice period and resigned from my previous job based on the offer. I then signed the agreement and began the onboarding steps. I was told my start date would be when the client shipped the work laptop.
Over the next weeks, I repeatedly asked for updates as the laptop did not arrive. I received varying explanations for the delay (e.g., holidays, executive vacations, shipment paperwork). After roughly two months without a start date, I contacted the client directly and was informed the project budget was still being negotiated. Shortly after, Hi-Tech Talents notified me that the role would not proceed. Because I relied on the offer and resigned my prior role, I was left without employment when the project was canceled, causing severe damage in my professional and personal life

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hi-Tech Talents (Seattle, WA) in Aug 2024
Interview
The interview process was streamlined and easy to follow. Since it is a small team, it was great meeting everyone. The interview questions were easy to answer, and it felt more personal than someone reading off a standard guide.
I applied online. I interviewed at Hi-Tech Talents in Feb 2024
Interview
I was contacted for a very urgent position and asked to complete a Coderbyte test, which I did successfully. They then scheduled an interview with their internal Software Engineer filled with technical questions and a live coding test (which once again I passed). After that I was totally ghosted, I contacted multiple times the recruiter and never had an answer. Totally unprofessional.
