I applied online and received an invitation to an HR call. I did the call (which was fine although I'm not sure the HR team member was that engaged!) and then a week or so I later received a rejection. This in itself was fine but at the end of the call, as I always do, I asked if it was possible to get a couple of lines of feedback if I was unsuccessful which I was told would not be a problem. When the automated email came back there was no feedback and an email reply went unanswered. It's disappointing that a company that builds HR software, including hiring software, isn't able to provide a decent interviewing experience, especially as one of their values is "Interact with transparency and openness". The job market is competitive at the moment but if someone has taken 30 minutes out of their day to do a call then I do think the company can give them a couple of lines of why they may not be suitable, but perhaps they may be for future roles.
