1. Review Structural Shop Drawing, reports, specification and ensure its compliance with design requirements, contract requirements, properly coordinated with other disciplines and submitted as per construction schedule.
2. Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved material used, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Construction Manager.
3. Review and comment Structural Method Statements as submitted by Contractors and ensure its compliance with contracts requirements.
4. Review and comment on formwork / shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructibility aspects are met.
5. Participate in reviewing Field Design Change and Field Change Notice as submitted by Contractors
6. Technical support and assessment to Contract Engineer and Cost Engineer of trend notice, approved variation and claims.
7. Advice PMT quality and safety team as well as Construction Manager of notice of noncompliance cases during site visits.
8.Closely monitor concrete pours and check continuously of concrete materials delivered to the site, ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures, and ensure all concrete tests are carried out as per contract requirements.
9.Advice Planning Engineer and Construction Manager of any slippage of Progress regarding site activities. 10. Attend Technical Meetings with Contractor, and weekly Progress Meeting if required by Construction Manager.
11.Review Contractors/ design consultant proposed design organizations and related CV’s and report to Engineering manager on his findings.
12.Review any alternative to the design concept submitted by the design consultant, prepare and submit a report including recommendation to the engineering manager highlighting the advantage and dis advantages of each alternatives.
13.Participate with PMC disciplines in reviewing the Close out Report as submitted by Contractor
14.Review Structural As Built drawings as submitted by Contractor.
