Applied through online… for 2 positions… with the same CV…only got a response for a lead position where by accident put “female”… after that was ghosted when they clocked that I was not… take it as you wish… could be one of these low quality dev work but sales have secured gov projects type of place…explains high turnover
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hippo (Manchester, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
Initial introduction call of 30 mins with general questions around my background etc. Next stage was a 1.5hr tech interview with the talent acquisition and senior BA where I had to prepare a presentation on a given scenario/project. Then consultancy based questions followed by Q&A. I found the whole process really positive and engaging, and I loved learning about the culture of the company and the community aspect. I got positive feedback form this stage and was invited to a final stage of a follow-up call with the principal BA which took 30mins - with further questions around my background and approach. And then general questions about what drives me/passions around this type of career. Again I was given further insight into how my career could progress with this company and the benefits I would be entitled to as an employee.
