I applied online. I interviewed at HobbyCraft (Salisbury, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
The role seemed very competitive and required multiple applications before being offered an interview. I have several years of retail experience, a background in art, and experience running craft workshops, so I was excited about the opportunity.
The interview itself felt positive, but unfortunately I didn’t receive any follow-up or feedback after requesting it. I understand teams are busy, but clearer communication with candidates would really improve the experience.

Question 1
General retail questions e.g “what makes a good team”
Pretty standard interview. Though at first you are required to work as a group to “create” something. They were friendly and accommodating and made the process seem very easy. I would recommend.
