I applied online. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Norman, OK) in Feb 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a call for an interview within a few days. The manager had a list of questions he was supposed to ask. They were mostly situation based, "tell me about a time when..." At the end you were given a chance to ask your own questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Before the interview, if you applied online, you will also have to fill out a paper application. The odd part to me was they wanted ALL of my work history and lots of details about them. I can't remember all that. That was so long ago some of those places don't even exist anymore.

It was pretty easy and was more of how you behave when in the given situation. Interviewer was so comfortable and friendly due to which I could probably answer well for all the questions.

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Westminster, MD) in Feb 2015
Interview
I don't even know if you can count what I had as an interview. They basically hired me as I walked into the door. I'm a male, so that might have had something to do with it as heavy furniture and rugs always seem to be my responsibility now. I was told they liked me and were going to hire me, but needed to go through with their standardized interview.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at HomeGoods (Collierville, TN) in Oct 2014

Typical retail job related interview. Basic questions. Nothing original or creative as far as questions. Interviewed initially with direct report and then again a few days later with the store manager.
